Back in 2016, when I took the plunge and started my YouTube channel, I had no idea what to expect. Honestly, despite spending two decades in marketing, sales and advertising, I didn’t think much about the branding and marketing aspect of it all. I, like many, thought I’d throw up content and people would somehow find me.
How wrong I was!
I also didn’t realize how much time was involved in figuring out how to do things the right way. Fortunately, my natural instinct and years of marketing, sales and research experience enabled me to leverage the power of the internet and social media, achieving steady growth and an extremely engaged community since starting my social media platforms.
Within just three years, my YouTube channel grew to over 100,000 subscribers in a pretty tough niche.
I’ve had brand deals and sponsorships with numerous national brands like Nordstrom, Maybelline, Sephora, Walmart, HSN, Estee Lauder, and Bravo TV, to name just a few. During that time, I’ve started my blog and my consulting business which allowed me to start working for myself full time.
I’ve seen so many businesses and creators whose online social media presence just doesn’t do them justice. They’re frustrated and struggle to effectively reach their target audience, provide powerful content, and relay their message properly.
